Rich or poor, the mounting fuel price is causing an appalling damage to the world economies across the globe. It was year 2008 when the fuel prices hiked up drastically and ends up with a record high of $150 per barrel. We are still observing the gradual increase in the fuel prices across the globe. Basically the supply and demand for the unrefined or crude oil is the major cause for high costs of fuel. Supply and demand is the basic criterion for all energy prices.

Worldwide Oil Supply

According to U.S Department of Energy there are three separate energy estimates of the world’s known oil reserves. The average of these reserves is estimated to be 1,255billion barrels. Saudi Arabia as a dominant producer holds 256billion barrels of reserves. 755 billion barrels belong to the Middle East.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is the association of 12 countries, which is led by Saudi Arabia. OPEC accounts for 2/3 (66.66%) of the world’s oil reserves. OPEC as a market leader feels free to set its own price for crude oil. Therefore no considerable competition to drive downs the prices.

Worldwide Oil Demand

Demand for fuel and fuel prices are in direct proportion to each other. It means that whenever the demand of the petroleum products increases, the prices of the fuel for consumer increase. It is estimated that the daily global demand for petroleum is round about 85-90 million barrels.

Economical and Geographical Effects on Politics (Geopolitics)

There are so many factors, which disrupt the supply of the fuel, result in the increase in the demand and hence the prices shoot up. Military operations or other disputes between different countries are the big hindrance in the continuous supply of the fuel. For instance, Israeli military activities into the Middle East, rebellion acts in Nigeria etc.

Impact of natural disasters on fuel prices cannot be denied. As we can take the example 2005 Hurricane Katrina in America resulted in 40cents overnight increase in the fuel prices. Several offshore oil piers and Gulf Coast refineries badly damaged and shut down in result of Hurricane Katrina for several months.

As a Financial Asset

Energy markets have emerged as a fast trading platform in recent years. Hence, more the larger bank larger is their commodity trading desks. Most of the investors nowadays have moved into the market to trade future pacts upon oil prices. Even banks have developed.

Moreover, in most of the countries the fuel price is cited in terms of U.S dollars, i.e. exporters claim higher prices to reimburse for the devalued currency, when the dollar is weak against other global currencies.

These are given some of the few causes, which affect the fuel prices directly or indirectly worldwide. The rise or fall in fuel prices influences the whole global economy. Because most of the industrial projects largely depend upon the availability of the fuel.

When it comes to cars, especially sports cars, you have your favorites and I have mine. The question of what constitutes the best is a hot button issue, especially among truly knowledgeable enthusiasts, because we all have a different set of criteria to work from.

The Sports Car

The best sports cars are defined by their driving and mechanical performance. As a group, they are “open, low built, fast motor cars”. They are dedicated high performance machines and they take many forms, depending on the manufacturer and market. But the sports car is more than just a fast car. It hugs the road, shifts responsively, accelerates quickly and can break on a penny all the while being street legal. It is no wonder then, that we love them and we love to talk about them almost as much as we love to drive them. So while this list may not match yours, it does reference some of the best sports cars of all time.

Sumitomo is a renowned manufacturer of passenger, performance, light and medium truck vehicles. Most people associate the Sumitomo brand with leading edge technology and superior quality and engineering. Sumitomo states they offer a unique mix between quality and price, and most people find this to be the case.

Perhaps Sumitomo’s best known lineup is their HTR performance tires. Ranging from ultra-high performance tires to all-season tires and touring tires, the HTR lineup is diverse and formidable. The Sumitomo HTR Z III and II are some of the best-selling tires. Both models offer superior grip and handling on both wet and dry road surfaces. In addition to their safety and engineering features, Sumitomo tires are also well-known for their aesthetic appearance. Many drivers are drawn to the bold, aggressive tread patterns.

Sumitomo also has a rugged series of light truck tires. The HTR All Terrain in particular is especially well-suited for off-road surfaces. Unlike other all-terrain tires, the HTR is engineered for a quiet ride in all-seasons. Many drivers are impressed by the ability of the HTR A/T to bite into snow and ice, even though they aren’t intended to be a true “snow tire.”

Sumitomo also caters to the medium truck tire market for commercial and heavy-duty applications. In this domain they manufacture long haul drive tires, steer tires, trailer tires, drive tires and more. Sumitomo medium truck tires generally deliver long mileage and have outstanding tread wear over time. Truckers also enjoy the stability that Sumitomo tires provide, and have always had good things to say about the traction and control.

Overall, Sumitomo is a reputable manufacturer that has plenty of industry experience. They know what they are doing and you should not doubt your decision to buy any Sumitomo products. Just check around for reviews and you’ll see that most people have nothing but good things to say.

Volkswagen, a very fine piece of German engineering responsible for making some of the most desirable and reliable cars on the market ranging from the likes of the Golf to the Scirocco. The Golf has several models from the mk 1 to the mk 6. The mk 1 Golf was first brought out in the early 1970′s and was produced up until 1984 which is when the Golf received its first makeover becoming the VW Golf mk 2. there were very few changes the wheelbase was made larger and the inner and outer dimensions of the car were also expanded. Several years earlier came the Golf GTi also known as the original hot hatch. keeping similar looks of the original golf (the mk 1)

The mark 3 golf which was manufactured in 1991 and production lasted up until 1999 this model made European car of the year in 1992 beating out its rivals the Vauxhall Astra and the Citroen Xsara this award gave Volkswagen great recognition showing that VW car parts are highly reliable. Many car breakers stock Volkswagen car parts as they are a desirable make of car providing a variety of cars ranging from sports cars such as the Golf GTi and the Golf r32 to family models such as the Volkswagen Bora and the Jetta.

All these cars a fine pieces of German creativity but all makes and models of cars can fail at some point so luckily many car breakers have a large variety of the parts needed to fix most Volkswagen makes, models and the different types of mark for each car. If you choose to buy brand new Volkswagen parts you can expect to pay up to three or four time more then what you would using used car parts and car spares. So always check popular sources of used parts first especially the internet as many breakers are formed together to form ‘Findapart’ networks this offering you a competitive edge as you submit a single request and pick the cheapest supplier from your quotes.
